Jumping Hours Black Jade Stone
THE ESSENCE OF PURITY
While green jadeite is more widely known, black jade is an exceptionally rare and darkly mesmerising alternative. For this 50-piece limited edition, black jade stone brings an amazingly enigmatic allure to our Jumping Hours model.
EnquireBlack jade is treasured for its strikingly pure black colour and its reputed metaphysical and protective properties

The black jade dial wafer is hand-cut and polished to a flawless flat finish, just 0.4mm thick. At its thinnest point, where the hour wheel is recessed, it measures just 0.15mm, demanding exceptional skill to craft without fracture. This is set within a 38mm case in 950 platinum, with a winding crown standing proud in pink gold, and contrasting hand-finishes between the mirror-polished bezel and lugs, and the satin brushed flanks.

From a distance, the dial presents a deep, jet-black expanse, punctuated by the pink gold of the chapter ring and brand logo, which echo the winding crown's warm tonality. Yet up close, the stone reveals its hidden life: the elusive natural textures and grain that make each dial unique.

The caseback reveals the ultra-slim Frédéric Piguet 11.50 calibre, expertly hand-finished by our watchmakers and paired with our in-house jumping hours module. The winding rotor, in 18-carat pink gold, features a guilloché-engraved ‘grains d'orge’ motif. A ring of 21-carat BlueGold, engraved with the edition number, surrounds the movement.
