Marking four decades of independent watchmaking, the Jumping Hours 40th Anniversary offers a refined take on one of ANDERSEN Genève’s signature complications. Produced in 950 platinum or 5N rose gold, it reflects the brand’s long-standing dedication to traditional craftsmanship and horolgical elegance.

At the heart of the watch lies ANDERSEN Genève’s signature 21-carat BlueGold dial, created through a rare artisanal process that fuses pure gold with iron at high temperatures. This traditional technique ensures every dial is unique, with shifting blue tones that dance in changing light. Into this vibrant canvas, master engravers carve the mesmerising “magic losange” guilloché, a complex geometric pattern achieved through three specialised engraving machines.
The minutes subdial at 6 o’clock introduces a contrasting clous de Paris guilloché, adding textural depth and visual rhythm. Dial details—including the railway minute track, inscriptions, and elegant minutes hand—are rendered in silver for the platinum version and rose gold for the 5N edition, each creating perfect harmony with their respective cases. At either side of the dial, engraved plaques bearing “1980” and “2020” mark this milestone anniversary.
Through the sapphire caseback, the ultra-slim Frédéric Piguet 11.50 calibre is revealed, upgraded with ANDERSEN Genève’s in-house jumping hours module and a 60-hour power reserve via twin barrels. Hand-chamfered bridges display classic Geneva stripes, while the 18-carat yellow gold rotor features traditional grains d’orge guilloché and the signature ANDERSEN Genève “A” emblem. Surrounding the movement, a hand-engraved 21-carat BlueGold ring commemorates “40 years of independent timepiece creation”.
